This latest AK-V tufting gun (released in July 2024) gives a completely new and improved dimension to tufting. I see it as the successor to the AK DUO Pro tufting machine. It tufts both cutpile and looppile.
While tufting, you can monitor your speed with the speedometer on the tufting machine. The advantage of this is that you always tuft the same density of wool. This way your tufted rug will be very even at the front and you will not feel different thicknesses of the wool. In addition, an LED light shines from the head of the machine for extra good visibility and the machine has a nice ergonomic handle.
The height of the cutpile and walking pile can be adjusted from 8 to 16 mm and the machine weighs 1.4 kilos.
