Tensioning your primary tufting cloth is and remains a challenge. Your monks cloth cannot be stretched tight enough and the lines must also be stretched nice and straight. With this stretcher you can use extra force to properly stretch your canvas and you only grab those pieces of canvas where you want your lines to be a bit straighter.
